Water Testing

I offer several water tests that are processed at an NHELAP Accredited lab. The New Hampshire Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program ensures accurate, precise, and consistent results of tests. The results are emailed directly to you from the lab. Please allow about 4 business days for results to arrive. Prices are for services provided at the same time as the home inspection.

A Note About Bacteria

E. coli bacteria in well water is a significant issue, indicating contamination by fecal material. Coliform bacteria is found in all surface water, and the bacteria itself is not considered a health issue. However, if it is found in the water test, it indicates that surface water is entering your well - and indicating other potential well problems, such as contamination by fertilizer, etc. at the ground surface. Typically, coliform bacteria will be found in almost all shallow (dug) wells.

It was a pleasure to meet you.—JoAnne M., Concord
